The Pursuit.

What if there was a change of direction such that all the money, the success and the fame you are pursuing in life begin to pursue you. In life, you are either in pursuit of something or you are being pursued. Life is full of pursuits.

What are you pursuing? What do you yearn for each day when you wake up? Money, fame, power, pleasure, peace, love, or academic/career success? Or what is pursuing you? Creditors, bills, demands from family, or unfulfilled desires?

What if you become the pursuit? What if you are the person people want to see when they wake up each day? What if you work on you till you become the source of joy, pleasure, and the display of love that others are willing to have a glimpse of? What were you born to be? What is that skill, talent, gift, or potential still buried within you?

You are like the soil where you came from? What you sow in you is what you reap. If others sowed weeds, you have the capacity to remove them and sow in yourself something of value. You have to decide to be diligent in bringing out of you the treasures hidden on the inside. You were born for a reason and that may be to be a blessing to just one person, a group of people, a local community, a city, a nation, a continent or to solve a global problem. What matters is not the magnitude of what you were meant to be but if you accomplished it before you died.

For someone, she was just meant to be a mother, the womb that conceived, and the hands that nurtured a great man. For another, he was meant to save a nation from perishing and set the nation on the path of greatness. Another person is meant to create a product that every house must buy and use. What were you created for?

What if you are the one being pursued? What if it is your product that they want to buy? What if it is your program or performance that they are paying to watch? What if they are ready to part with their money so as to have a bit of what you have to offer? What if you are the pursuit?

Sit up and ask yourself if you are what you were meant to be. Have you been sincere enough to ask yourself about the skills and abilities lying dormant within while you are scrambling for welfare from the government? Someone somewhere is ready to invest in what you have. Money flows effortlessly in the direction of potent ideas that can change the world.

To do this may require a self-assessment, the setting of goals, a lot of discipline, and changes in associates and relationships. It would require a plan, the seeking of required knowledge, a form of training, a stringent focus, and a lot of diligence. On the long run, if it breaks you and brings forth the flow of treasures hidden within you, it will be worth it.

After of all the pursuits of life that you have embarked upon, can you turn the tide and make yourself the object of pursuit? Will you make a decision today to become a better person? You have to be what you were born to be – the pursuit!
