About Dr.Agboola John

I am a recipe still in the making: Physician, Parent, Public health scientist, Health Educator, Pastor, Public speaker, Entrepreneur, Administrator, and Investor. A reservoir of knowledge and experience focused on the whole man.

My life purpose is to have a positive influence on every person I meet and leave them happier, wiser, and more blessed than I met them. I live to ensure that every place I find myself is better than I met it or at least ensure it is not worse.

I have been a practicing general surgeon, established a private medical clinic, a public health educator, public speaker, public health scientist, blogger, parent, pastor, bible study teacher, farmer, and presently training as a pathologist.

A fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), a Fellow of the Medical College of Nigeria,  a life member of the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons (WALS), an international fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a member of the American Public Health Association (APHA), and of the Christian Medical and Dental Association (CMDA).

I am a public speaker involved in several health campaigns and seminars.

I finished from the College of Medicine at the University of Ilorin in and concluded my first postgraduate medical training at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital as a General Surgeon and a fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery at the World Laparoscopy Hospital, India.

I was a student at Federal Government College, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria, from where I graduated with Honours in 1993.

I am a devout Christian, married to Bukola (Nee Adido), and a happy father of two.
