What is written concerning you?

What is written concerning you?

To fulfill your destiny, you need to be aware of what is written concerning you. There are books written concerning you before you were born foretelling the kind of person you will look like, the temperament you will display, how intelligent you will be, and how you will make decisions.

Let us briefly examine each of those books.

1. Your genes: Written in every cell in your body is a book. This book is coded within the inner chambers of your cells called the nucleus. In its coded form, this book is known as genes. When decoded, all the information within it could fill a whole library. The intricate way in which the genes are packed and made so tiny and microscopic still baffles scientists but being able to decode the human genome is one of the greatest achievements of the 20th century.

Your genes say a lot about you. How tall you will become, the color of your eyes, your temperaments, your talents, your ability to develop new skills, the possible types of diseases you can develop, how long you will live and much more could be determined by studying your genes. The big deal is this: you alone carry the blueprint in your genes. They are unique to you alone. There may be similarities to others but as a whole, none is exactly as yours. The same is so of identical twins. Their genes are not perfectly 100% exact copies. You are specially wrought by creation at conception.

2. God’s books: Your creator has a book written concerning you. As your manufacturer, he has a manual detailing what he created you for, and the capacity is given to you to achieve them. The book contains a diagnostic section that reveals the signs that show you are about to malfunction and how to get you repaired. It talks about reset buttons. The book even talks about each day of your life before you had even lived one of it.

There are two books God has written concerning you (apart from the one in your cells!). Isn’t that wonderful? The problem with the first book is that it is coded. It barely makes meaning in literal view and many misinterpretations have come out of it. The good news is that the second book is for decoding the first book.

The first book is the Holy Bible. I assure you that a lot of things are written concerning you in the Holy Bible and you will do yourself a lot of good regardless of your creed or race to take time to read it with an open mind.

The decoder for the Bible has been placed in your heart. “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart,….”.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 (ESV)

Did you just read that? In your heart, God himself placed another book that helps you understand the one written (in codes) by His Holy Spirit through the hands of men. You need to clear your brain, open your mind, and engage your heart while reading the Bible as you sincerely search for the truths written concerning you. The more you clearly see what is written concerning you from scripture, the more of what you were created to be you’ll become. We relate with God with our hearts, not our brains or our minds.

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.”

Psalms of David 139:13-18 (ESV)

3. The third type of book is “third-party books”. These are books written concerning you by men. Part of this was written ages before you were born by your ancestors. Your race, their location, their decisions, and much more had already been written and these characterized you by virtue of your birth. Your chapter started when your parents met on the day you were conceived. They decided where to be when you were born. They decided which name you would bear and you grew up in that tutelage. The constitution of your country was written concerning its citizens of which you are a part. Ignorance of the law is not a defense as you are bound by the law of the land you choose to live.

All these are books written concerning you by men. This also includes the plans of the wicked (if any) concerning you. For example, if your parent were killed while you were a kid, that becomes part of your story. The question is this: Are you aware of what is written concerning you and how this affects your life? Books are important and what is written concerning you may hold a lot of weight regarding how you will end up.

“All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades when the breath of the LORD blows on it; surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.”

The book of the prophet Isaiah 40:6-8
