GOD IS LOVE!

The word ‘love’ is widely abused and seems to be the most highly misunderstood of all vocabularies. Men and women are busy searching for true love which seems to be scarce because true love comes into the heart of men as a seed. The heart into which true love comes becomes gold.

Why do men of all races, tribe and creed keep searching for Love? It may be because love is the source of the strongest positive emotions that course through our being. This search for love is actually a search for God. It is a void in the heart and psyche of men.

To truly connect to God, the spirit of man must be activated by the Love of God. This love of God is a seed. When the ‘love of God’ enters into the heart of man, it overpowers selfishness in man and gives life to the spirit. Selfishness works death anywhere it is found, either in a man, his home, the work place or the nation but when the love of God comes into the heart of man, it brings life into his spirit and puts an end to selfishness.

The seed of God is the word of God and it is the link between man and God!

The thing called ‘the word of God’ is not just a written book, it is a living being. It is alive, it purifies, it judges, it justifies. It is what every man must come in touch with to return back into relationship with God.

As long as our world refuses God and his word we cannot expect him to interfere with happenings around the world. As long as individuals have reasons no matter how sincere for rejecting the true personality of ‘the word of God’ we can never truly experience the power of God in our lives and situation.

True peace, joy and satisfaction are not based on human efforts (though these are necessary and required), what man seeks for is already a gift from God. Access to God guarantees all these. Anyone who claims to know God will naturally and spontaneously do right. He who does not do right does not know him.

Any philosophy, religion or psychology that puts the solution to our world in the hands of men is a lie. It is obvious we are doing a terrible job outside God and that is inclusive of UN, World Bank, WHO etc.

Any philosophy, religion, psychology or science that places God in the picture but makes it the responsibly of man to try his best through his efforts in reaching out to God (no matter how convincing or pious the demands) is also a lie.

God in trying to reach us has sent his word. He did this in two ways:

First by reaching out to men by His Spirit and these men wrote their experiences over time in man’s language (the language each person can understand). The Bible was written for all people of all language and is still being interpreted in many languages. The Bible was not written for a group of people called ‘christians’

Secondly, God sent His word in the flesh to link man back to God. Now we do not have Jesus in the flesh anymore but the scriptures consistently point everyone to him. You need someone to help you misunderstand the scriptures! If you open up your heart, you will hear God speaking to you through the written word.

It takes two or more to confirm even spiritual things. It took 40 writers over hundreds of years to put together a consistent writeup pointing everyone to God. Any philosophy or religion that points to one man as the only source through which God has revealed himself to others is a deceit. The demands of the spiritual can never be fulfilled by carnal man except in percentages. The most pious of men never succeeds in pleasing God. That is why some get to the point of either killing themselves for God or killing others in his name. Such demands for pleasing God are met in Christ and received by grace only.

When a man receives the love of God all is settled.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.” John 1:3  

“And so the Word became flesh and took a place among us for a time; and we saw his glory–such glory as is given to an only son by his father–saw it to be true and full of grace.” John 1:14   

 “For God had such love for the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to destruction but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to be judge of the world; he sent him so that the world might have salvation through him. The man who has faith in him does not come up to be judged; but he who has no faith in him has been judged even now, because he has no faith in the name of the only Son of God.” John 3:18 

“Behold, I stand at the door (of your heart), and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” Rev 3:20 

“Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by Him, since He ever lives to make intercession for them” Hebrews 7:25
